Paris 2

Our first full day in Paris was amazing. We met up with Rob's friends and they were nice enough to take us all over the city and show us everything that we wanted to see. We started at the Eiffel Tower and kind of played it by ear from there and ended up visiting Notre Dame and a bunch of other places.

Paris 1

Pictures from our first night in Paris. I met up with Kevin at our hotel around 8 or 9 and we went over to the Arc de Triomphe. We went up and took some pictures of the city from there. Then we walked down to the Eiffel Tower.

Adventure Numero 2

I was going to go up to the very very top of the hill where the Olympic Stadium is but the little cable car thing that goes up there was closing soon so I couldn't. I ended up walking down toward Mont Juic (the big palace...) and watching the sunset. Then I walked down to the cool fountains and watched them for a while again. By the way I think you can see the pictures better if you actually click on the slideshow and it will take you to the actual album online.

Bike tour

Here are some pictures from about 2 weeks ago. We went on a bike tour of the city. Most of these pictures were taken while actually riding the bike so some of them are a bit out of focus.

More Rolling Stones

This one below is a little bit of I think my favorite song of the night. They played a version of Ain't Too Proud To Beg. It was sick.

Rolling Stones

Went to the Rolling Stones concert last night. We read online somewhere that Van Morrison was opening for them but it turns out he didn't. Some Spanish band and some Scottish band played for a while. But it was still awesome. Totally crazy to see the Stones at all but especially in Barcelona. I was standing in line for about 3 hours before the show so we got a real good place about 15-20 feet from the stage. When we were standing outside waiting to get in Mick and Keith drove right next to us on the street. That was pretty cool. I guess the whole thing was really cool

Weekend in Madrid

I was going to post all my pictures from Madrid on here but it takes me about 10 minutes to post 5 pictures. So it woulda taken over 3 hours to post all of them. So I embeded a slideshow in here instead. Hopefully it works! We had a great time in Madrid but unfortunately the weather wasn't very friendly and it was raining essentially the entire time we were there.

Random Park

After the fountains we went up this big hill towards the olympic stadium and found this random park with a sweet view of the skyline. I don't have any pictures of the skyline but the park was pretty cool too...

Font Magica

Sweet fountain with light and music show next to the old palace. Cool place.

Casa Batllo, Las Ramblas, Placa Catalunya

Casa Batllo. A Gaudi Building.

Las Ramblas at night.

Las Ramblas.
Street perfomer on Las Ramblas.

More street performers.

Yet another. This guy is weird.

Placa Catalunya.

FC Barcelona Futbol Match

Last night we went to the FC Barcelona soccer game. It was an amazing experience and easily the best sporting event I've ever been to. Totally crazy. The guy sitting behind me went crazy when Barcelona scored their second goal to go up 2-1 and he was giving me a high five and fell over the railing into my row. Pretty crazy. The pictures are kind of in random order.

End of the game. Everyone was all sad. One guy behind us was crying...

My roommate took this picture but I thought it was cool so I stole it. This was right after the second Barcelona goal.

Crazy pre-game celebration.

These guys were singing songs and chants and it was totally insane.

More craziness.

Camp Nou. Seats 100,000 people.

Lots of people.

More lots of people.

Outside of Camp Nou.

More pictures of the crazy Spaniards.

Me and the roommates and friends.

Awesome time.
