Adventure Numero 1

I decided to get on the metro and see where I ended up. Wound up in the Barri Gothica. It's the oldest part of the city. Has a lot of really amazing buildings - cathedrals and old Roman style churches.

Sweet Roman style church.

Different angle.

Bad angle of La Catedral. It seems like all of the major cathedrals and stuff like that that are kind of iconic Barcelona are going under lots of renovation. It's hard to even see this one because of all of the resoration stuff going on. It's kind of the same thing with La Sagrada Familia (a Gaudi building...I don't have pictures yet because I forgot my camera when we went and saw it but I'll go back).

I'm not really sure what these buildings were but I liked them so I took a picture.

Another bad angle of la catedral.

Yet another bad angle of la catedral but I guess with the gargoyles on the side of the other building it's kinda cool looking.

I really liked this little walkway thing so I took a couple of pictures of it.

Here's this cool part of that walkway thing.

And another. There were four but there was some crazy big tour group coming up behind me so I got out of their way and left the area.

Not sure what this is. But it looks nice.

It's really hard to see in the picture but this window was really really cool stained class.

Me encantan las fotos. Ojalá que conozcas a muchas españolas para que puedas “practicar” el español. Haremos un viaje a Inglaterra dentro de poco pero no estaremos allí cuando tú visitas.
